Dynamic Pilates
Tuesdays 6.30pm - 7.15pm

This class takes the key principles of Pilates and applies them to a wider range of exercises with an emphasis on functional movements such as squats, lunges, pulling, pushing, hinging and rotating and also Barre techniques inspired by elements of ballet/dance.

The dynamic element means these classes will be faster paced (and more challenging) than a traditional Pilates class. 

Although the class is faster paced, the movements are still performed with control and you can expect to balance, pause and move slowly in and out of exercises. 

You’re more likely to raise the heart rate and break a sweat in this class.

Who is this class for?

Anyone who is confident performing functional body weight exercises such as squats/lunges or has experience attending Pilates classes. 

If you are new to exercise or have injuries or pain that limit your participation in exercise, please attend a Mixed Ability Class instead where exercises can be carefully monitored and adapted. 

Mixed Ability Pilates
Tuesdays 7.30pm - 8.30pm

Mixed ability classes are suitable for all levels from the absolute beginner to more experienced gym goers. The beauty of Pilates is how accessible it is. All exercises are low impact and gentle on the joints and each exercise can be modified or progressed to suit your abilities. 

A typical class may see you using resistance bands, soft balls and other small equipment, working on your balance and coordination or even breathing techniques. You’re unlikely to sweat, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be working hard! 

Classes are kept small to ensure that you get the best possible experience and high-quality tuition.

During this class there will be more emphasis on posture and core engagement.

Who is this class for? 

From beginners to the more experienced. New mums (or dads), gym goers, desk workers, anyone with niggling aches and pains or musculoskeletal conditions. 

Class Information

Pilates classes take place in Norwich at Queens Hill Community Centre in Costessey. The space is light and spacious offering the perfect environment for group Pilates Classes. 

Classes are capped at 15 attendees to ensure that you get the best possible experience and high quality tuition. 

Tuesday evening at 6.30pm & 7.30pm.

Classes typically run in blocks in line with school terms however this may vary. Please note the below dates are subject to change. 

Autumn term

Block 1: 9th November – 14th December 2021 (6 weeks) 

Spring Term

Block 1: 4th January – 8th February 2022 (6 weeks) 

Block 2: 22nd February – 29th March 2022 (6 weeks) 

Summer Term

Block 1: 19th April – 24th May 2022 (6 weeks)

Block 2: 7th June – 19th July 2022 (6 weeks excluding 14th June) 

When booking a full block of classes the price per class is discounted to £10 for 60 minutes or £8.50 for 45 minutes. 

Partial blocks will be charged at £12/£10.50 per class.  

Classes are bookable in blocks and typically run in line with school terms. 

Due to the limited group size, you are required to book a full block to secure your place in classes. 

Unfortunately no refunds or discounts are available for missed sessions for any reason.  

If you are wanting to sign up once a block has already begun, you may be able to book a partial block however this will be subject to availability. 

If for any reason a class is cancelled by the instructor/venue, an additional make up date will be offered or credit will be issued for future bookings. 

Block dates listed are subject to change, therefore only one full block can be booked in advance. 

All class block payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

If you are unable to attend a session in a booked block (for any reason including covid related isolation) you will be sent a recorded class or offered the option to attend a zoom class (if running). 

If for any reason a class is cancelled by the instructor/venue, an additional make up date will be offered or credit will be issued for future bookings.
